This is a special devotion today, honoring the gift of life that was given to us by our Father, through Jesus Christ.

As we post pictures and images of family gatherings, don’t forget to keep Christ in Christmas. In fact, there’s no Christmas without Christ.

Think about this. All day today, we will salute one another with the statement of: “Merry Christmas.” Let me break this down real quick.

Merry means: causing joy and happiness

If we then break down the word Christmas: Christ,  He is Lord.

 In Spanish, the word mas means more.

“For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Luke‬ ‭2:11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Soooooo….Merry Christmas means Christ The Lord causes more joy and happiness.

We don’t even realize how the world is trying to remove Jesus from everything- through a simple phrase. 

 In fact, the next time someone texts or post “Merry X Mas,” don’t be too quick to respond and say the same thing. You are “x’ing ” or excluding Jesus out of your happiness. 

Let me tell you- this one thing I know: when you remove JESUS, it is impossible to get MORE (mas) happiness without Him.
