My family and I were on vacation. We decided to hike a trail in Hawaii called Diamond head crater. It is a volcanic landform, built by particles that were ejected from a volcanic eruption. It now looks like a mountain.
Listen here!!! We are not the outdoors- type of people; however we will explore things native to the area of which we are vacationing. I personally do not like anything associated with hiking, but because my family wanted to, I decided not to be a negative Nancy. I wanted to encourage your hearts as we near the end of the week. Never give up!
Life lesson: Don’t give up on you! I am inspired. So inspired. This climb meant a lot to me. More than my family even understands.
I had to pause many times. Older people passed me by. My children went ahead. All I could do is repeat Psalms 23. My husband stayed behind, although he could have easily gone ahead and finished quickly.
What is the moral of the story: Run your race. Your run may be a walk. You may have to pause. You may have to cry, but never compare your journey to someone else. You can make it, if you don’t give up!
Be patient with you!
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. “From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.” Isaiah 43:2, 13 NLT
