I Can

It’s Monday. You’ve walked into the office with an issue you could not resolve last week. You just are not feeling it. Or the discouraging words you heard over the weekend are beginning to produce emotional scars and today feels like “blah”

baby

How many times have we used this phrase: “I’m not _____ enough”?

Some of the words used to fill in the blank above have been: smart, pretty, strong, and good!

Why? Why do we claim silent defeat? Is it because we “failed” at a task? Can I help you with something? Just because the results weren’t as you expected, does not mean that you failed or that you are a failure.

Do you claim defeat because someone made you to believe that you were defeated? Did you allow someone to shatter your confidence and plant negative seeds of worthlessness? Did you not get up and try again because someone your equal disqualified you? Can I help you with something again? You just allowed someone else’s problem to become yours. Most often people degrade and demean others because of their own personal weaknesses and experiences. They were hurt and now hurt others. They lost their place in God or are just bitter. If ever someone offers you their opinion and does not follow-up the statement with ways of improvement, they are not offering constructive criticism.

ecuse me

Don’t live in silent defeat.

  • Why associate with nouns (a person, place or thing) that have nothing but discouraging things to say about you?
  • Why associate with nouns that do not keep you accountable?
  • Why associate with nouns that give you no hope?

Your fate is not in the hands of man. Do you understand where your help comes from?

“I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade at your right hand.”‭‭Psalms‬ ‭121:1-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Uh uh…not tuhday. You will not begin your week like this. It’s time to make some adjustments. Please direct your attention to the following revised statement:

“I I’m not _____ enough CAN”

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

It’s Worth It!

What are you fighting for? Is it worth fighting for?

I’ve learned in this life that there will be many battles and struggles. I’ve also learned that having someone to help you get through your struggles make it a little easier to handle. Don’t mess around and have the Spirit of the living God within you…honey, that’s THREE people fighting together; and as the scripture says below, three working together, is hard to break:

“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.”‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭4:9-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

So then, if we are confident that the Holy Spirit of God has taken residency in our lives, then why are we so quick to claim defeat in this spiritual battle?

What did you do before Jesus entered your life? Didn’t you fight?

Whatever happened to Him being greater in us than what’s in the world? And when will we begin to believe and operate in this?

“But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.” 1 John‬ ‭4:4‬ ‭NLT‬

Let me be the first to admit, that when I hear of horrible situations or when I am the main character of the story, and my storm is all around me, immediately my heart races and my initial reaction is almost always a “panic” attack.

But then I have to recall to my mind what He has promised and use the power that lies within the pages of the Bible, through the words that we read, speak and “say” that we believe.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Let me ask again: What are you fighting for? Is it a good fight? While fighting are you fighting in faith? Because without it, you won’t win.

  • Your relationship with your children is worth fighting for.
  • Your relationship with your parents is worth fighting for.
  • Your relationship with your siblings is worth fighting for.
  • Your marriage is worth fighting for.
  • Your anointing is worth fighting for.
  • The most important relationship that you will ever have- your relationship with Jesus Christ, is worth fighting for.

Jesus fought for you! Not only did he fight, He died, because He said you were worth it and some of us have the audacity to give him some (not all) of us when it’s convenient.

Don’t devalue your worth! Don’t devalue your relationships. Don’t devalue your commitments. Most importantly do not devalue the price Jesus paid for our freedom from bondage. You are worth fighting for and the favor of God and His protection is worth the fight.

Fight…

Finish…

Remain faithful!

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.” 2 Timothy‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Royalty

How would you expect the royal family to behave? When you think of royalty, what comes to mind? I Imagine one of power, wealthy, a rich heritage and lineage of historical figures whose works and causes shaped the future. There’s a quiet confidence in knowing that whatever comes up against you, it will be destroyed. There’s a badge of honor and respect to protect the Kingdom at all cost. There are just some behaviors and actions that would be totally out of character as representatives of the Kingdom. For example.

  • If you were a queen, would you sell your body for monetary gain?
  • Would you perform favors for men for the purposes of having a bill paid or wearing stylist clothing?
  • If you were a king, would you congregate with others in the kingdom, to destroy innocent lives through violence in your kingdom?
  • If you were a queen, would you belittle and disrespect yourself, pleasuring yourself with men as you choose and not waiting on a spouse who would become king and promote your kingdom?
  • If you were a queen, would degrade the other women in your kingdom because they do not possess what you possess or would you provide opportunity for them to succeed?
  • If you were a king, would you sleep with whom you desired, conceive children and then leave them and their mother to struggle on their own?
  • If you were a queen, would you wear clothing to entice men or would you dress to reflect your kingdom in a respectful manner?
  • If you were a king, would you rob and steal to get what you needed, when you already possess everything through your Father?
  • If you were a king or a queen, would you talk negatively of the people in your kingdom and gossip about their situation or would you send help to help your people, understanding that the weakness of one reflects on the entire country and your reign as king or queen?
  • If you were a king or a queen, you would not do these things.

HEAR THIS!
Oh but you are a king and a queen young man, baby girl. When we give our lives to Christ, we become a part of the royal family and we inherit the blessings of royalty. We become heirs to His kingdom.

However, we must learn and know the code of conduct of our Kingdom, through the word of God. We must learn what the expectations are of us as being royalty. If we do that – some things we wouldn’t have any fellowship in or take part of. Build the Kingdom. Teach your little princes and princesses their worth and value to the Kingdom. Uplift and encourage one another.  There will be neighboring countries of evil attempting to destroy, take from your Father’s Kingdom and oppress the people of the Kingdom. Stand firm in the foundation laid through your royal lineage.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6:12-13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Our identity is not in how the world sees us but how God sees us. We are royalty though Jesus Christ. Take your rightful place and be who your Father has called you to be. You were chosen for this. You were created to be in this position before you were even placed in your mother’s womb. The Kindgom of God, our Father, is calling for leaders to stand firm without wavering. Your family is strong. Your lineage possesses power beyond measure. There is no one or nothing that can come against it…unless YOU allow it. The choice is yours. What are you going to do? ROYALTY!

“But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. “Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.” Dear friends, I warn you as “temporary residents and foreigners” to keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very souls. Be careful to live properly among your unbelieving neighbors. Then even if they accuse you of doing wrong, they will see your honorable behavior, and they will give honor to God when he judges the world.”‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:9-12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Represent

Most companies have a code of conduct or code of ethics. This document provides information on how employees should conduct themselves as representatives of the organization. It may also include dress codes (formal or informal), the company’s values, objectives and how employees should deal with certain (ethical) situations.

Colleges also have entrance requirements. The most prestigious of them all seek for people who strive for excellence. Proof of their perseverance would be demonstrated through a graduate’s overall grade point average, test scores on the SAT or ACT and how well the graduate has written their entrance essay. Additionally, any recommendation letters from others helps as well.

Athletic teams from all levels also have requirements. For high school, a student’s GPA and behavior in class or worth ethic may get them a spot on the team. For college, one may have been scouted based on 4 plus years of performance during high school to land a sweet spot in a starting position.

In almost every aspect of our lives, there are stipulations, codes, requirements and other such things to obtain affiliations with an organizational structure. So…why is it that when we give our lives to the Lord, we feel as if there should be no requirements for us to fulfill? While we may not verbally say this, our actions are loud and clear.

  1. We wear our shirt as low as we want (cleavage showing).
  2. We wear our skirts as tight and short as we like.
  3. We wear our pants as tight as we want.
  4. Men wear earrings because they want.
  5. We get piercings everywhere we desire.
  6. We go where we want.
  7. We do what we want.
  8. We say what we want and how we want.

If we are doing everything WE want, then who are we really representing? If you do what you want to do, then you are representing YOU. If you don’t acknowledge the Holy Spirit in all that you do, so that He may guide you, then you are representing You

Romans 13:14 (NIV)
Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.

Am I saying that your attire is going to determine where you spend eternity? No, of course not. God judges our heart, our faith and our willingness to be a living sacrifice. But…when those we are trying to draw, do not see a difference in our behavior, from their behavior, how are we going to persuade them to experience the magnitude of power and love, which we have received from Jesus?

Everything God has ever done was classy, of quality, and in excellence. With God as our Father, and we as His children, we should be the epitome of class, sprinkled with grace and topped off with a silent confidence that only comes from the peace and joy given to us by our Father, through our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Do you really know who you are? You are CHOSEN! To be chosen means to be the object of choice or divine favor.

John 15:16 (NIV) You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

  • You were chosen because you are considered the ‘cream of the crop’ to represent Jesus.
  • You were selected from all the other billions of candidates to show forth the praises of our Savior.
  • There was no other person created to do what you do, because the Master Designer, God our Father, specifically made you for a purpose.

If there is any ounce of the Holy Spirit or any God-conscience within you, I guarantee you had a first thought to not say or do what your second thought told to do/say and you did anyway. God has all the confidence in you, but you choose to represent yourself, do what pleases you (not Him), regardless of who it offends. Because of your selfishness, that one soul or the masses of souls our Savior needed you to connect with (because of the power in your testimony), remains loss in his/her sin longer than intended. And so, just as the children of Israel who wandered for 40 years, these people continue to wander, all because your representation is unclear.

If someone rings your doorbell and says they are with FED-EX or UPS and have a package for you, what is the first thing you’re going to look for? Well, for me, first I need to see a truck with the official brand name. Next, I need to see you, SIR, with a shirt that also matches the official brand on the truck. Then, I need to see a package on the ground and a gadget in your hand for me to sign for this package that you claim is for me!

giphy

In case you were unaware, you are chosen. You are royalty. We have been commissioned to Earth to show forth the majesty of the Kingdom of God which awaits all of us who turn from our own malicious ways to follow the example that Jesus laid before us. The mission is to compel the wandering souls.  Let us represent the Kingdom of God, our Father, as heirs to the throne.

1 Peter 2:9 (NIV) But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

The True Test of Your Character

I cannot stress enough, the importance of being kind. The word of God is clear about being kind as a Christian; but not just to those who are kind to us. We should be kind to those who are unkind also. The way we act in the grocery store line (when the clerk is taking forever), in traffic, at work and of course at home.
Our attitude and actions are a reflection of what’s really in our heart.

Proverbs 3:3 (NLT) Never let loyalty and kindness leave you. Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart.

You REALLY have to put forth an effort to be kind to someone who is deliberately unkind to you. Our mind would tell us to treat them the way they have treated us, but that is not what Jesus says. Especially with the use of social media, people feel their personal opinions of you are valid because their page is their personal property. Here is a thought: How can you have a “personal” opinion of someone when you do not know them “personally”?

Here’s a rule of thumb: If you can’t find a genuinely kind reply, just don’t respond. That person may think you’re crazy. They may even ask if you hear them speaking or say something else just to get a reaction from you. I’m learning that I don’t owe a response, especially if it will make me jump out of character (the character of God, that is). We do not owe anyone anything but love.

Romans 13:8 (NKJV) Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.

As Christians, we should strive to be an example of Jesus Christ, everywhere we are.

  • Smile and greet everyone you meet today (even if they don’t reply).
  • Provide a word of encouragement, rather than criticism.
  • Practice being kind to yourself.
  • Think of how you feel when others are kind to you and be that person to someone else.
  • Don’t allow someone else’s problem to become your problem.

The real test of your character is how you treat the people who you don’t have to be nice to.

Romans 12:20-21 (NLT) Instead, If your enemies are hungry, feed them. If they are thirsty, give them something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals of shame on their heads.” Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.

There’s a Miracle in This Room

Over the past few days, the cityof Mileaukee, where I was born has experienced much civil unrest in our communities. So much so, that it has made national headlines. While I choose not to debate over politics, religious beliefs, education or society (well I choose not “debate” over anything), if you look at the state of this world, there is turmoil all over, even in our own personal lives. However, when tragedy occurs, people begin to form views of what should be done and what actions others should take, while they do nothing more than complain and not perform any actions themselves. The first action or reaction we all should have is to examine and change ourselves. Then we can help others:

“And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? How can you think of saying to your friend, ‘Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.” Matthew‬ ‭7:3-5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When everything negative seems to happen all at once; when it seems as if you cannot get a break. When you feel as if not only the wheels have fallen off, but also the windows, the frame and the engine, remember this:

A miracle can never present itself, if there is no problem.

  • There was never a miracle without their being a problem, first.
  • The man could not become seeing if he first was not blind from birth.
  • The woman could not be made whole if she first didn’t have an issue of blood.
  • The man could not wash and present himself to the priest had he not been diagnosed with leprosy.
  • Jesus could never heal your soul had you not been hurt and left for spiritually dead by the enemy.
  • Jesus could not make a way for you if you did not need a way to be made.
  • Jesus could not leave His peace with you if there was not going to be some turmoil that you were going to experience in your life.
  • I could not know Jesus as my PERSONAL savior if I had nothing to be rescued from.
  • I could not know Jesus as the doctor in the operating room…FOUR times, had I not had to go through horrific experiences with c-sections for all of my children’s delivery into this world.
  • I could NOT know Jesus as a heart fixer if my heart had not been broken.

But thanks be to GOD who always causes us to triumph…IF and only IF…we surrender our ways for His purpose.

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffusesthe fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” II Corinthians‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Bae baeee you better learn how to make this walk with Jesus your lifestyle and not a passing trend to satisfy your current condition. Jesus is real!

“Jesus said to him, “Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.” ‭‭John‬ ‭20:29-31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When tragedy happens we must learn not to panic but to pray and believe. Then we wait for instructions from our Father to act on the directions He has given. Your pain has purpose. While in the midst of it all, we do not understand the purpose, but trust that the Lord will reveal the beauty behind your suffering. Jesus has a solution to your issue, if you have faith enough to ask Him and believe.

“Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Mark‬ ‭9:23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Be Careful

Have you ever been angry with God?

We have all made requests to God that didn’t turn out like we had hoped. When this happens, it is easy to begin making accusations and questioning Him. We start to wonder if the Lord heard us or just decided to simply say “no” to our prayer. Whether we are uncertain of the reasons why the Lord decided not to fulfill the request, one thing we are certain of is our anger toward’s the decision He made.

Wait a minute though.

When we begin to feel this way, we are treading in dangerous water and uncharted territory. When we feel that God owes us an explanation as to why He chose to do what He did or did not do (mostly because we are not doing what’s expected of us), we have forgotten who we are speaking about. Let me help you a little bit.

The bible talks about being angry. It’s okay to be angry; however, when you have anger then there is a serious issue that should be addressed immediately.

“Be ye angry and sin not; let not the sun go down upon your wrath.” Ephesians 4:26 (KJV)

Here, the bible says it is okay to be angry. Anger is a sin and becomes dangerous and here is when your issues begin.

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior” Ephesians 4:31 (NLT)

As stated in the scripture above, anger is an evil behavior.

In the old testament, there was a man named Jonah. He became angry with God and tried to run when God called him to preach to his enemies. Later (after God sent a large fish to stop him), he reluctantly obeyed God and preached to his enemies. To the surprise of Jonah, his enemies repented and turned to God. Instead of Jonah praising the Lord and rejoicing, he became very angry (Jonah 4).

What is the point? Simply this: Jonah was angry at God – but God didn’t reject him. Instead, Jonah needed to learn to trust God, even if he didn’t like what was going on. Hmmm. Maybe in God’s decision not to fulfill your request, He is teaching you to trust Him.

Perhaps the Lord allowed the enemy to test you, to see if you would be faithful during rough times just as you are when everything is going well.

Be careful who you direct your anger towards. This also applies to a man or woman of God. We are so quick to judge and take information from a person without knowing the entire story and then our heart becomes hardened over something that had nothing to do with us. When we should be praying, we  become angry and opinionated.

Consider the source of the information you received. If they are quick to speak negatively about a man or woman of God, they will speak ill of you as well. This is a spot in your feast of charity and God will not be pleased. You’ll soon find yourself having to ask for forgiveness for an issue that you had no involvement with.

But I have this complaint against you. You don’t love me or each other as you did at first! Look how far you have fallen! Turn back to me and do the works you did at first. If you don’t repent, I will come and remove your lampstand from its place among the churches. Revelations 2:4-5 (NLT)

Life doesn’t always go the way we want it to, but God still loves us; He loves us so much that He sent His only Son into the world to die for us. Even when you’re upset at Him, He still protects you, allows you to have a sound mind and good health to provide for your family. Would God be wrong to afflict you because of your rash words towards Him? Surely your suffering would be justified – especially placing your mouth on something you do not understand. But He waits patiently for you to realize that He is not your enemy.

Most of the times the issues we deal with are because we bring them on ourselves; primarily because of our mouths and what we say. There is power in your words. That’s so hard for people to process that. If you reflect back over the situation that caused so much frustration, it’s probably yourself you should be angry with.

Be careful!

Take control of what I say, O Lord, and guard my lips. (Psalms 141:3)

The Book of Life

The general format or layout of a book is first the foreword. It is a “word” be”fore” the book itself. The foreword is usually written by someone other than the author, providing his/her perspective on the author and the book). A general book layout consists of the introduction, chapters, conclusion, acknowledgements and references.

What makes a book worth reading to you? Maybe it’s the drama. Maybe you like to read to gain knowledge. Maybe the illustrations capture your attention or the descriptions and personalities of the characters. Maybe the author is well-known and is accustom to writing amazing books. Or maybe the book was a referral from a colleague. I myself enjoy reading. It’s relaxing and it takes me away into a world that I’m not physically a part of but I certainly feel as if I am through the use of my imagination. However, if the book resembles a dictionary, I cannot wrap my mind around enjoying something that looks like a college course book.

Our lives are like a book with many chapters. We are the authors. Each day is a new page and each year is a new chapter.

The foreword is our 9 months in the womb and was written by God. He knew us before we were in the womb.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The introduction is when we are born (introduced) to our parents after spending 9 months in the womb, that our Father God placed us in.

Then the chapters of life begin. As with a good read, our lives consists of many successes, triumphs, and tragedies. Characters are introduced. Some remain throughout our entire life story and some are there for a season. Some were never meant to stay as long as they did, but even those still served a purpose.

“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:” Ecclesiastes‬ ‭3:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

How are your writing your story? Are you writing with expectation? Is there some structure? Are you seeking guidance from the Holy Spirit, who is the Master book editor and can assist you creating a best seller?
How do we become best sellers of our own novels?

  • A best seller in life is a victor and not a victim.
  • A best seller in life turns tragedy into triumphs.
  • A best seller in life realizes that their sufficiency is in Jesus.
  • A best seller in life comes running back to his/her Father, through Jesus Christ, like the prodigal son.
  • A best seller in life is not selfish. He or she uses his/her own book to help create a best seller for someone else.

Don’t copy and paste the same page in a new chapter. Your plagiarizing your own life. You cannot begin a new chapter repeating the same page.

In about a week, I’ll be starting chapter 41 of my book. It’s called: “The Year of My Father’s Business: The Powerful And Humbling Story Of a daughter and the Power Her Father Gave Her to Operate His Business!”

I do not know how many chapters I have remaining in my book; but I do know this: The remaining chapters will be better than the first because my Father didn’t just TELL me. Naw naw…He PROMISED me. This house (my body) is where the Spirit of God rests comfortable and well.

“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.” Haggai‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

As far as the conclusion goes, if I am not confident or certain of anything else, I do know that my conclusion will be breathtaking.

“Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them. He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.” Revelation‬ ‭21:1, 3-4‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Just as I have this assurance and confidence in Jesus, so can you. What chapter are you in? What story are you sharing with the world? Allow the Master Editor to assist you with writing your manuscript. There’s only 4 months remaining in this year. Do not repeat the same story you had with the same conclusion from 2015. Make your book one of laughter, love, courage, triumph and faith in our Lord and savior Jesus. Make the pages in your book pleasing to the eyes of the Lord to read to the heavenly angels.

Living a Life That Matters

If we be honest, deep down inside (and we don’t have to search too deep), we have a desire to make our “mark.” We want what we do to matter. If not for ourselves, then most certainly for the Lord.

Some may profess with their mouths that they do not care what people think; but that cannot be the total truth. You DO want others to care and take notice of your business, you would like for your manager to see your efforts at work to be considered for a promotion, raise or bonus, you do want your children to look to you as their role model, you do want Jesus to notice how you have upheld your integrity in Him. Yep, you care.

Have you ever in your lifetime envisioned something for yourself? Every time you think about this amazing plan, your heart races with excitement. Oftentimes, we become so beaten down with life that we stumble or even fall and that vision remains a dream or an after-thought in your mind. Well, yeah and it surely doesn’t help to receive negative comments or harsh opinions from those we thought loved us most. Their words hurt like a burn from am open flame. The reaction from that one person you trusted and thought would somehow fuel your passion for your vision was not what you anticipated. Their words had such an astounding impact that the passion you once had, fizzled.

Pretty soon, you begin to wander through life and you just exist.

Let me say this right here: criticism is not “constructive” when it does not motivate, stimulate, uplift, encourage and make a person more confident or enlightened.

No- ummm…that’s called nitpicking, or destructive criticism.

Your. Life. Matters.

You life became valuable when Jesus said and proved that you were worth dying for. Do not devalue yourself.

Why is it that when you think about your dreams, your heart burns with excitement? Then, your mind takes over and you begin to think of what it would take to put this plan in motion, and the fire burns out again? Let me tell you what I DO know. God will make provision for the vision. If He gave it to you, He will direct you on how to execute His plan.

Proverbs 19:21 (NLT)
You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail.

Oh yes it is His plan. Your own thoughts could not come up with something so elaborate and creative that no one else in the WORLD has this idea. Here is the beauty of it all: Jesus wants HIS plan to be carried out through YOU!

All wisdom and knowledge comes from the Lord. That is why it’s important to acknowledge Him and wait. It’s his plan fulfilled through you! Why would God tell you to write the vision down if it would not happen?

“Then the Lord answered me and said: write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2-3

Love the Lord. Seek Him. Live your life for Him.

Remove the handcuffs of guilt and discouragement. Everyday speak life in and over your life:

  • “I can make it”
  • “I am the apple of the eyes of My Father”
  • “He made me for a specific purpose”
  • “He made me for a time such as this”
  • “I am important”
  • “I am an overcomer”
  • “I can do this”
  • “I am the work of Your hands”
  • “I have no idea what today holds, but Lord I know you are holding me through the day which means it will all work together for my good and your glory.”
