One of the amazing thing about God is that He is not a bully, nor a push over. He never imposes His will but yet He proves that His way is the best.

As we approach the 2020 Presidential Election, I am reminded of the election process we are afforded, but often taken for granted.

You can elect to complain about your day, or be thankful for another day.

You can elect to complain about your child’s behavior, or be thankful for God’s divine protection over them.

You can elect to complain about having only one day off during the holidays, or be thankful for the knowledge and capability to fulfill your job requirements.

You can elect to follow the Lord Jesus, or forsake His ways for those of unrighteousness.

One thing is for certain: God’s election process is fare and truly decided by you.

Whatever you decide, you will be responsible for the results of the election.

“Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!” Deuteronomy 30:19 NLT

Make your election sure.

“Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more eager to confirm your call and election, for if you do this, you will never stumble.”2 Peter‬ ‭1:10‬ ‭NRSV‬‬
