Don’t Replay the Fall

  • You responded the wrong way knowing it was a test; as a result, you were fired from your ideal job.
  • The temptation came, and you didn’t take the escape route, which resulted in the birth of your beautiful child.
  • The negative opinions of others dictated what you did and the way you engaged in relationships.
  • Fear told you that you were not good enough, so you wouldn’t jump and you didn’t start that new business.

…but that was the old you, before you were made BRAND NEW! And to anyone who says: “you are acting brand new,” well, that’s because you are!

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV

Don’t keep replaying the fall.

Whatever it was is in your past. You are not what happened to you. God has lifted you up. Stay there. The perspective is contrastingly different between a turtle 🐢 and an eagle 🦅

“but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah‬ ‭40:31‬ ‭NIV‬‬
