God is in the Midst

It is said that the image or statue of a kingdom’s ruler is positioned in distant parts of his kingdom to demonstrate his authority and the stretch of his domain.

God said that we are His image bearers. This means that we are we are living replicas of God to expand His Kingdom so that His glory is revealed.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”Genesis‬ ‭1:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Do you know what this means? Wherever your feet are planted, it is a sign that the presence of God has arrived.

When you arrive at work in the morning, remind yourself and others (by your conduct): “Heyyyy, Jesus is here!”

When you arrive at your children’s school to address an issue with another child, remind yourself: “Jesus is here!”

When you walked into that chaotic meeting, you were able to bring peace to the situation because Jesus arrived and left His peace.

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27 NKJV

When Jesus arrives, He has the ability to calm every storm. With His guiding Spirit, He has given us the same authority and power- in fact, even greater.

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” John 14:12-14 NIV

And when you are rejected, by a business, a family member or an acquaintance, No worries. Don’t become offended, and do not copy their customs and behavior. Instead, pray for them because they have just rejected the kingdom of God.

“He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.” Matthew 10:40 NKJV

Shake the dirt off and “KIM” Keep It Moving.

And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.”Matthew‬ ‭10:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God dwells among us, and is working through us. Therefore it behooves us to always reflect His loving kindness in an unkind world.

Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 NIV
