You Are Needed

Who is counting on you? In other words, who is depending on you to be the best you? Do you have children that rely upon you?

Do you have aged parents who rely upon you to take care of them?

Do you work for a business that is dependent upon you to put together a presentation to obtain a new client? Maybe you are a liaison between the business and technical departments of the company and the technology department is counting on you to express to the business department, the importance of migrating to a new system.

Do you have a brother or sister in the Lord who relies upon you to give them an encouraging word for their situation? Maybe they are beginning a new life in Christ and are uncertain of how to reach Him.

The point is that we all have dependencies. Your vehicle depends on you to gas it up, so it can go. The grocery store depends on its customers to purchase items to remain in business. Your body depends on you to rest at night so you can function the next day (I know I’m speaking to myself)We have many things and people pulling on us. But who are you depending on? Do you rely/depend on Jesus?

Whether you realize it or not, when you pray, you show your dependence on God and your need for him. What are we counting on Him for?

  • Salvation
  • Hope
  • Peace
  • Strength
  • Healing
  • Comfort
  • Wisdom
  • Life
  • Protection
  • Love
  • Answers to our prayers

Whether we acknowledge our dependency on Jesus or not, our next breath comes from Him. We are nothing without Christ and we cannot do anything without Him.
We actually depend on the Lord for everything.

“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,” ‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Can He depend on you? He is also depending on us. An invisible God becomes visible through us in how we represent Him. Jesus depends on us…

  • To be a living sacrifice
  • To live with integrity
  • To continue to abide in Him
  • To believe Him
  • To know Him
  • To compel others to follow after the example He has given

Be Visible! You are needed.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Monday Motivation

Here we go…MONDAY! Need motivation to get through? Did you have your coffee this morning to get you going? What is your morning routine?

What motivates you? In other words, what reasons do you use to push yourself to love, to be effective, and to push through challenging times? Is there a person that can seem to get the best out of you? Is there a past experience that pushes you to excel? Is motivation driven by your feelings? In fact, feelings are described as an emotional state someone may be in. If you always need a feeling to gain momentum in your life, your growth in any area can become stagnant. Let’s be realistic. We do not always feel like doing anything. The reality is we have to. You may not have felt like letting go of the pillow this morning, but to obtain a paycheck for your labor, you had to let it go.

God is not motivated or controlled by His feelings. But that does not mean that He has no feelings. We are made in His image, in His likeness.

“So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” Genesis‬ ‭1:27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Just as we have feelings, and can be hurt, our Father also has feelings.

Jesus wept. John 11:35

The LORD was grieved that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was filled with pain. GENESIS 6:6 NIV

Love is a feeling that produces an action. If we say that we love someone, demonstration of that love would be obvious, right? The bible says that God is love. He demonstrated His love in this manner:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” ‭‭John‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:8 NKJV

Are you hurting The Lord by your actions? Do you say that you love Him and that you are a replica of Him, however, your actions and appearance speak a different language? Do you have to be motivated to read your Bible and learn of Him? Do you have to pump up yourself to give the Lord thanks and praise, even when faced with unexpected circumstances

Are you motivated to be a servant of the Lord or compassionate in serving? Jesus was not motivated. His moves were calculated and determined by compassion.

And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. Mark 1:41

Let us not be motivated but moved with compassion.

You Are What You Attract

The law of attraction says: “Like attracts like.” Basically what this means is if you give out negative energy, that is what you should expect in return. Likewise, if you focus on positive thoughts, you will produce positive results. You attract what you are.

If your physical appearance seems to be angry, hmmm, you’ll probably find yourself by yourself, or talking to people who share the same emotion as you. Now there’s a big ball of huff and puff in the room. If your demeanor seems to be sad or one that always complains, hmmmm, you’ll probably be the one who feels alone, but yet not realizing you’re the source of isolation. Why? People look for others to uplift and encourage and who have a positive impact. Most people do not want to engage in a convo that will make them feel worse.

What we fail to realize is that energy is transferable; it’s often called human magnetism. You either draw people to you or you drive them away. For example, a physical touch produces energy. You don’t believe it? Hug someone you like or want to be with.

Or if you’re having a heart-to-heart with a confidant, a genuine hug makes the person receiving the hug feel welcomed. Your energy can repel or attract someone.

Jesus spoke about this philosophy as well. You were drawn to the Lord through someone that demonstrated love:

The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. Jeremiah 31:3

You were seeking for something. You felt something was missing and then you felt the love of Christ, through one of His representatives. If we are what we attract, who is attracted to you? Have you made JESUS irresistible? If others are drawn to you, are you using the attraction to pull them from death?

If we would spend a piece of our time learning how to be empowered by the Holy Spirit, we would learn that He is the source of power, which allows us to do all things (Philippians 4:13). Oh My Father- this power comes from Jesus through salvation (deliverance from the power of sin)

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

And keeps us secure in the hand of our Father. When you read this scripture, remove the name “Jerusalem” and put your name.

“Like birds flying about, So will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem. Defending, He will also deliver it; Passing over, He will preserve it.” Isaiah‬ ‭31:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

As you continue your day, think on these:

1. What types of people are attracted to you? Is it those that enjoy talking negatively about others? Or those who seek the wisdom of Christ from you?

2. What have you done to make yourself irresistible to the Holy Spirit? Does He desire to be with you or does your sinful nature stink in His nostril?

3. If it were your funeral today, what would people genuinely say about you? Did you make an invisible God, visible through you?

What are you attracted to? Who is attracted to you?

Not TUHDAY !

Shoot it’s Monday- you needed a 3 day weekend. If THIS boss goes there tuhday??? It’s gone be a fire. If she say one undermining thing TO DAY…this will be THE day.

Have you ever found yourself in an argument and someone raises their voice at you? The next thing you know, oh, let’s go- IT IS ON! You have reacted to match their tone. No need to worry. There is nothing wrong with you. We all have been there.

Do know you anyone (or are you this person) who is so “menopausal” (moody) that anything can cause them to go off? Quick tempered, quick to let somebody have it, and just plain ole manipulative. These characteristics do not denote strength. Instead, they demonstrate weakness.

A gentle person is not driven by their own emotions nor do they overreact off of any and every little thing. A gentle person is not irrational, unruly, or unmanageable. The Lord talks about being gentle. It is a gift that is a rarity these days. What is interesting is that the word of God says if you have God’s Spirit, gentleness is actually proof or fruit or is one of the results of demonstrating that The Holy Spirit does govern your life. So the interesting piece is that gentleness has become so rare and yet there are so many who profess to be led BY the Spirit of God. 😳

“gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:23‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Gentleness means to have strength while remaining in control. In other words, you’re able to handle your own emotions. You understand what you’re capable of doing, but you remain calm and you can maintain a quiet nature when everything around you is chaotic.

Gentleness requires humility, because along with pride and feelings of superiority come rough reactions and stubborn, know-it-all answers.

Do you know what just blows my mind? God has all the power in the universe, yet He is gentle with us, and He wants us to learn to be like Him as well. Do you recall the instance in the Bible when the woman was caught in the very act of adultery and was brought to Jesus for her sentencing (John 8:1-12)? He didn’t condemn her to death as the church folk wanted. He was gentle with her and His gentleness saved her because Jesus told the others, (I’m paraphrasing): “Well since you came out the womb all holy, and never did wrong, throw the first stone.”

What does your gentleness do? As you progress through your day, think on these questions:

1.  Was I gentle in the situations I faced today or over the weekend? If not, why?

2. Do I demonstrate the same gentleness to others that Jesus does to me every day?

3. Do I gently encourage people to “sin no more”? Or do I self-righteously cast the first stone?

Being gentle is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of wisdom.

“Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭4:2‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I Am Amazed

A person described as a sinner would be one who does not live according to the principles of God; however, that does not mean they do not know who Jesus is. Maybe they feel that they’ve done so much wrong that there is no forgiveness for them. Or maybe they have had no one to truly introduce them to the Love of Jesus. Either way, the word of God has stated that we all have sinned and come short of His glory.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23

There was a woman in the Bible who was identified as a sinner, but no one really knows her full story. Who knows if there were nights where she cried and prayed for help. Who knows if she had been tormented in her mind just from her own thoughts. Who knows if her heart yearned for a change in her life. She was just known as “the sinner.”

The word of God (Luke 7:37) goes on to say that when she knew that Jesus was in town, she went to the house where Jesus was invited to have dinner. The woman brought an alabaster box filled with precious and expensive oils and began to anoint and kiss the feet of Jesus as she wept. Notice she didn’t even care about not having an invitation. She had purpose- to get to Jesus. So overcome with emotions, the woman must’ve cried so hard that she covered the feet of Jesus with her tears, so she took her hair and wiped them. Of course, the folk who went to church (knew the law or the right thing to do, but would not follow Jesus) had something to say about it and became judgmental. But oh my God- because of her act of faith, Jesus saved that woman from ALL of her sins.

“Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”Luke‬ ‭7:44-46, 48, 50‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The woman with the alabaster box believed more than the church folk. The woman was more dutiful as a “sinner” than those who studied the law themselves.

Two things I’ve gained from this story. None of us are perfect! We all must remember how difficult it was to get to a place to truly trust the Lord, if we still are not there. The Spirit of discernment should lead us to help one another, not condemn. If you see someone struggling, remember what tormented you. Recall to your mind the struggles you had with being obedient and faithful to God. Remember when you were a sinner. Remember the times you constantly stayed in the prayer line. Recall the sleepless nights and how you wet your pillow with tears of sorrow. Remember when your loved ones reminded you of how they were praying for you and you still did your “thing.” Continue to love them. Continue to pray for them. Continue to encourage them, whoever “them” are that crosses your path.

Secondarily, this woman didn’t care about who was there. She had a purpose and she was going to get to Jesus at all cost, literally. It did not matter that she was not invited. It did not matter that she was stereotyped. It did not matter how much money she could have received for her possessions- she had an appointment with Jesus. The price of her freedom from sin was worth more than any amount of money she could’ve obtained by selling the oil in the alabaster box. She went with purpose and left with a praise.

What about you? God has given us an abundance of grace and He has proven to us over and over again how much He loves us. We place a monetary value on our so called “commitment” to Jesus. The work we do, has to be compensated, but we forget that the price has already been paid. Now don’t misunderstand me. Why would the word of God say: “if a man does not work, he should not eat, if we did not need to make money to live?” That tells me that the Lord understands we have to provide for ourselves and our families. However, our sole intent for committing to something should not be based on what we can obtain in dollars. What if the earning is a soul? What if you prevented someone from committing suicide? What if you led someone to peace within themselves?

What have you given in exchange for your freedom from the bondage of sin? Regardless of what the world could offer you for your gifts, your ideas, your passions, have you chosen to allow the light of Jesus to shine and to allow Him to make room for your gifts? I don’t know about you but for me, there is nothing that I could give in exchange for what Jesus has done for me. My life, my stupid thoughts, my attitude and my past reckless behavior were so unworthy of His love. Yet and still, He cared. And quite frankly, I am amazed.

“What fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans‬ ‭6:21-23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Feelings

The moment we open our eyes, we can almost determine the type of day we will have based on how we felt when we got up, well at least that is how it works for me. I do not normally sleep throughout the evening. I wake up at least 3 times throughout the night. But I really, really, really hate to wake up (really…no seriously) and it is time to get up. REALLY!

Now I’m mad and frustrated because I turned over thinking I could get a couple of hours and instead of turning over, my feet have to hit the floor. I mean really?

Thank God for waking up, but I don’t want to wake up sleepy. That is NO way to start a day. Now, I’m trying to find ways to keep me up and give me energy so I can do what I need to do. So, since  I “feel” tired and sluggish, more than likely I’ll be less patient, easily frustrated, and unable to give my complete attention throughout the day. Ugh!

Wait. I just had a thought. That’s probably why our children do not pay attention in school. They are not getting enough rest. So they don’t “feel” like schooling. Lord knows I try to get my babies in bed early but shoot, when I do that, I catch them playing in the room okay.

Back to the point…

For me, oftentimes my feelings dictate my day. We all have them- “feelings.” They are associated with what we think of others. Feelings are associated with pain and frustration; but they are also associated with happiness, contentment and peace, among other things.

When we react to a situation based on how we “feel”, we find ourselves in trouble.

“Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus displayed many feelings or emotions. He was angry when He saw the people in the temple doing everything but teaching the word of God. He was hurt when His friend Lazarus died. He was filled with compassion when the woman with the alabaster box anointed His feet. He was in pain while on the cross- yet and still Jesus fulfilled His purpose that God required, while in His feelings. His feelings did not lead Him- His Father did. Jesus acknowledged His feelings in the flesh, but Jesus also recognized He had to answer to a higher power. We all have feelings but we cannot allow our feelings to become a character flaw.

Flaws are an imperfection or weakness that hinders effectiveness. We cannot be spiritually effective in feelings. Feelings cause us to sin and react impulsively versus rationally. Although we may be justified in what or how we feel, we cannot be led by our feelings. Our feelings can offend others and that ought not be the case; especially if you say you’re a child of God. We must be led by the Spirit of God.

Let us never let our feelings get in the way of seeing things the way they truly are. It’s time to get our feelings out of the way and get in the Spirit.

“Fools vent their anger, but the wise quietly hold it back.” Proverbs‬ ‭29:11‬ ‭NLT

Take Root

Have you ever looked at someone and their appearance alone seems as if they had it all together? I’m not speaking monetarily; there is a quiet confidence about them. Their smile seems genuine, their appearance is clean, their children demonstrate proper etiquette and they just seem to have it together and well-kept. In other words, this person appears to be grounded.

Being grounded is someone who is mentally and physically stable and has an understanding of the things that are most important in life.

The word of God speaks on being grounded.

“if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.” Colossians‬ ‭1:23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Let’s be honest. We all want to have…

  • Successful relationships (parental, marital, corporate)
  • Success on our job
  • Peace and joy
  • A healthy mind and body

But what happens if it doesn’t happen right away? What about when the healing doesn’t happen the way we hoped, or when the relationship fails, or when we get laid off from the job? Then we become discouraged and we give up, ultimately blaming God.

Being grounded in your faith is the key to having a REAL relationship with Jesus. We sing, shout, and dance all over the church. We get so excited about the “fruit” of God’s goodness, but has our faith really taken root and been grounded?

When planting seeds that will produce fruits and vegetables in a garden, you have to take care of the ground. The seeds have to be watered to take root and the tree or bush or vine as to grow before the fruit begins to appear. You cannot produce fruit without root.

It takes time to grow a garden and to continue to reap an annual harvest of what was sown. Every year will not produce the same harvest. There are outside factors such as the weather, along with laboring that is consistently put into cultivating and nurturing your garden. Whelp, in order to produce the fruit we want to see, we must spiritually lay the foundation of faith through consistency and growth. We have to be grounded and rooted. Although we may not annually reap the harvest we expect, we don’t quit. There may be a season of drought and your harvest becomes dry. Don’t quit. Adjust! Just as storms make trees take deeper roots, the storms in your life arise to help settle and establish you in your faith and trust in our Father, come what may. Continue to water your faith through the word and wait patiently for the harvest. What are you connected to? That’s what you become like. If you are connected to lies, you become a lie. If you’re connected to gossip, you become a garbage can. Connect to the true vine, take root in His word and become a branch of righteousness.

“Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!” Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Where Were You?

The 11th chapter from the book of John tells of a situation where we see the human emotions of Jesus. A man by the name of Lazarus became ill. He was the brother of Martha and Mary. This is the same Martha who washed the feet of Jesus with her hair. The bible says that Jesus loved Lazarus and his sisters.

Not long after being ill, Jesus receives word from Mary that Lazarus has died. The bible says that Jesus wept, or cried. No matter who you are, death is not easy. Think of the death that affected you- that person that is no longer here for you to talk to. It hurts! That is why I cannot fathom why it is such a light thing and rolls off of our tongues so casually, the death of Jesus for US! It should humble us that Jesus was willing to DIE for us, because we can relate to the loss of someone near and dear to our hearts. Okay, I digressed a bit- back to my point. Mary goes on to tell Jesus if He had been with them, her brother Lazarus would not have died.

How many times have we blamed the Lord for bad situations in our lives?

How often have we gotten an “attitude” with God because we did not get what we wanted Him to and how we wanted Him to do something?

The Lord is not to blame for tragedy and hardships in our lives. It seems as if this is hard for us to believe, but it is the nature of people. It is easy to blame someone or talk about someone who is not physically there to defend themselves. We see it happen daily. A story is told about an event and if the key people in the event are not there, you can be certain that one of those people will be blamed. The difference here though is the Holy Spirit is everywhere and He hears and sees everything. Jesus told us who is behind all of the turmoil:

“The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” John‬ ‭10:10‬ ‭NLT

Jesus told us that everything good comes from God and He does not change.

“Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.” ‭James‬ ‭1:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We are eager and quick to question the Lord, His decisions and His whereabouts in our lives but…what if the Lord has some questions for you? Just what if He needed to ask you some questions such as:

  1. Where were you, when He needed someone to minister to the spiritual needs of a lost or hurting soul, but you talked about them?
  2. Where were you when God had a direct word for your situation, through His minister and you decided not to attend service?
  3. Where were you when God gave you a thought to read or study in His word, to reaffirm and establish your relationship with Him, or something to use to encourage that person you would run into on that very same day (to prepare you for the conversation) but instead you chose to do it later, only to forget the thought, go to bed, or watch your favorite show?
  4. Where were you when God needed you to speak His word into someone’s life but you chose to speak and transfer gossip about the man or woman of God?
  5. Where were you when God needed you to make the purpose He has given you a priority in your life, but instead you chose to place your personal agenda before His?

Where were you, when God needed YOU?

“The LORD looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise, if anyone seeks God.” ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭14:2‬ ‭NLT

‬‬Do we seek God out of a pure heart, just to know Him and hear Him? God has been there! No, He has been here. He is here now, seeking for you!

For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost.” Luke‬ ‭19:10‬ ‭NLT‬‬

He was there when the issue happened in your life. He has been there all the time. The question is where were you when He needed you? Had you been there, maybe the situation would have had different results.

In case you’re wondering, the story of Lazarus ends such that Jesus said that the sickness of Lazarus would reveal the glory of God. And so, Jesus raises Him from the dead. I don’t know about you, but I want Jesus to love me so, that He feels my tears and it moves Him to bring me from a situation that the enemy believed would place me on death row. But because of my compassion and love for Him, Jesus resurrects me from the situation and brings life from potential death.

What Do You Do?

The joy and connection that can only be understood by another mother, when you give birth to a child; but the emotion that fills your heart from knowing the hatred and the prejudices they face as they immediately exit the womb…what do you do?
do3
The anxiety attached from the thought of someone attempting to take from you what you’ve purchased with your hard-earned money, through the fruits of your labor; but the frustration of being stereotyped and questioned on “what you do for a living,” and made to feel as if you’re required to justify why you have what you have – what do you do?

The violence, senseless shootings, and disregard for life within your own community, but then the worry of being stopped or calling for help by SOME of those who have enlisted to serve and protect, what do you do?

The feeling and stress of being hated for the color of your skin AND who you represent…Your Savior (Jesus is my Savior, not my religion); but He told you the world would hate you because it hated Him. What do you do?
do2
You want your child to have the best educational experience possible, so you place them in school systems that provide the opportunities you’re seeking; however, your babies just don’t feel “comfortable” or welcomed.  If you choose to send them to public schools, there is another set of circumstances that are presented. The educators desire to make a difference but are expected to pull a “rabbit from their hat,” doing more with fewer resources, surrounded with over-populated classrooms, and working with children who have been forced to experience home situations and hardships that some adults will NEVER understand. School administrators are encouraged to stand even-keeled, in the face of children who are attempting to maintain their own innocence and told to come to an environment where they must…focus…and learn. The children cannot comprehend why they are made to live in such dire situations. They begin directing their anger towards those attempting to help them, or other children and it seems to be a never-ending cycle because THE LOVE OF MANY HAS GROWN COLD.

WHAT DO YOU DO?

You are expected to be a beacon of hope and light. You are supposed to tell others to not give up. You tell others do not quit. You are supposed to be strong, but what do you do when you need encouragement?
do1
I’ll tell you. Yep…I sure will. Do you remember who your Father is or do you KNOW who your Father is? I have said it before and I will say it again. Satan is doing his part, but what are we as believers doing to prepare the way? Whether you desire to accept it or not, Jesus is returning soon. All the daily news, both locally and nationally, truly crushes my heart, but what are we doing to bring God’s Kingdom here?

…”thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done, in earth as it is in Heaven,” is a portion of the Lord’s prayer from Matthew 6:10. Here is a thought: How are we going to get the Kingdom of God and His will done here on earth, if we do not commission and live a life to welcome God’s Kingdom? The state of the world is crazy and to be living in times such as these is almost unbelievable, but we should not be surprised.

And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other. Matthew 24:10 (NLT)

Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.
Matthew 24:12 (NLT)

What do you do?

1. Do the word!
So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls. But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves. James 1:21-22 (NLT)

2. Stand
Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Ephesians 6:14-17 (NLT)

3. Get the correct weaponry
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds…2 Corinthians 10:4 (NKJV)

4.Fight
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:12 (NKJV)

Don’t be partially committed, be fully persuaded.

And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Romans 4:21 (KJV)
